Bing versus Google: Allocation of Paid Search Spending in America in 2009
Paid Search market share for Bing in America hit a new record high at 13.7% during Q4-09, compared to Q3-09 which was at only 5.4% (an increase of 8.3%), as reported by Craig Macdonald, Chief Marketing Officer and VP of Products at Covario.com, an Interactive Marketing company based in San Diego. Meanwhile, market share for Google in America dropped significantly to 72.2% in Q4-09, compared to Q3-09 which was at 80.1% of all allocation of paid search in America (a drop of 7.9%).
