Bing U: Bing gives access to professors and students to crunch its large datasets

In a collaboration with its parent’s large datasets storing system via Azure cloud-based services, Bing has allowed access to its super-size datasets to include academic community around the world. Bing announced the collaboration during the World Wide Web Conference (WWW2010) this week. The datasets at Microsoft Web N-gram Services include all documents indexed by Bing which contain a collection of web search, natural language processing, and speech. For now, only professors and students at accredited colleges and universities can crunch its big chunk of datasets which are currently stored via Azure cloud-based services.
