Bing’s extra arm: millions mobile devices made by Samsung will be pre-loaded with Yahoo search

As one of the world largest mobile devices maker Samsung and Yahoo just announced a strategic global partnership to distribute Yahoo search and services to Samsung mobile devices. The partnership will start to be implemented in May 2010. Millions new mobile devices and gadgets made by Samsung will be pre-loaded with Yahoo search and services (incl. Mail, Messenger, Flickr, News, Finance, etc.). The partnership will benefit Bing decision engine significantly, as Yahoo search will power millions devices running Samsung bada and Android platforms, as per the press release.
